Jorge Valdivia

SVP & Head of Merchant Solutions & Technology for Latin America, Fiserv

Jorge Valdivia is the Latin America Merchant Solutions & Technology Head at Fiserv, Inc., a leading global provider of payments and financial services technology. In this role, which he has held since November 2025, he leads the company's technology operations and the Merchant Solutions vertical across the region, spanning the full portfolio of acquiring products and platforms. His goal is to drive client growth by leveraging Fiserv's capabilities and by identifying new opportunities and business flows the company can support, helping clients succeed in Latin American markets.

Prior to assuming his current role, Jorge served for three years as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Fiserv's Brazil business, where he doubled the size of the operation and strategically positioned the franchise to keep driving client growth. He helped retailers of all sizes integrate technology into their workflows to run their businesses more efficiently, through solutions such as Acquiring as a Service, the Clover® cloud-based point-of-sale and business management platform, and omnichannel offerings that orchestrate payments and experiences for some of the world's largest companies.

Valdivia joined Fiserv through the company's 2019 combination with First Data, where he served as Chief Information Officer for Latin America, leading the development of technology platforms for the company's retail, financial institution and issuance businesses. He had originally joined First Data in 2017.

Previously, Valdivia held leadership roles at Citi in Chile and the United States, including Chief Technology Officer for Latin America, where he oversaw the company's technology management. He also served as CIO of Banco de Chile, responsible for the institution's IT platforms.

Valdivia holds an engineering degree from the University of Santiago de Chile and an MBA from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
