Jorge Valdivia
General Manager of Brazil at Fiserv
Jorge Valdivia is the General Manager of Brazil at Fiserv, Inc., a leading global provider of payments and financial services technology. In this position, which he has held since October 2022, Valdivia is responsible for the company's operations and results in the country. This includes accelerating organic growth as Fiserv enters a new cycle of maturity in the strategic Brazilian market.
Prior to assuming his current role, Valdivia served as Senior Vice President of Acquiring and Retail Products for Latin America at Fiserv. He has helped retailers of all sizes integrate technology solutions to grow and manage their businesses more efficiently. These solutions include Acquiring as a Service, the Clover® cloud-based point-of-sale and business management platform, and Carat, an omnichannel solution that orchestrates payments and experiences for the world's largest companies.
Valdivia joined Fiserv through the company’s combination with First Data in 2019, and served as Chief Information Officer for Latin America, working on the development of technology platforms for the company’s retail, financial institution and issuance businesses. He joined First Data in 2017.
Previously, Valdivia held leadership roles at Citi in Chile and the United States, including Chief Technology Officer for Latin America, responsible for the company's technology management. He was also CIO of Banco de Chile with responsibility for managing the company's IT systems.
Valdivia holds an engineering degree from the University of Santiago de Chile and an MBA from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
